		Dr. Mary Bernath Associate Professor of English Mary Bernath received her PhD from the University of Pittburgh in English with a special emphasis in American Literature. Both her Masters and her Bachelors are also from the University of Pittsburgh. Teaching and Research Interests Dr. Bernath has a particular interest in 19th Century American Literature and the teaching of the writing process. She is also interested in journalism and has served as the academic advisor for The Voice since 1999.
