Update: Greg Mueller will be spending the fall 2010 and spring 2011 semesters as a resident artist at Gustavus Adolphus College in Saint Peter, MN. “As Sesquicentennial Sculptor, Mr. Mueller will create works that will recognize the College’s 150th anniversary,” said President Jack R. Ohle. “We are delighted that someone of his experience and skills will be on campus to make this unique contribution.” He will also work to develop sculpture for the College’s new academic building and outdoor spaces on campus. We look forward to seeing him produce new work and will welcome his return in the fall semester of 2011.
CREATIVE RESEARCH: My work proposes that sculpture can provide a focus for contemplation by transforming reclaimed, disparate material into thematically unified forms and spaces.
