This 18-credit interdisciplinary minor is in compliance with Bloomsburg University’s mission of preparing students for professional success and providing “resources to maximize opportunities for success.” Participating departments include Accounting, Art and Art History, Business Education, Finance, Management, Marketing, and Music.

The Arts Management minor provides undergraduate students a firm multidisciplinary ground in arts management by bridging the gap between the necessary disciplinary depth in art and curatorship with a skill set that facilitates entry into the arts management field. Students will acquire skills in marketing, development, and budgeting as well as exhibition design and research.


Through this interdisciplinary minor, students will expand their marketability to work as creative professionals, agents in public or government support systems for the arts, managers in nonprofit arts organizations, and individual proprietors of for-profit arts organizations.
